Broker's Summit

The Summit is designed for Broker Owners and Managing Brokers and will take place at the MAR Building, North Hall.

Application is being made with MREC and MAB for 2 hours of elective CE credit.

The program is FREE but registration is required and space is limited!

Invitations to the Summit with the registration link are being emailed to Principal Brokers and Managing Brokers.

Lawrence Yun

NAR's Chief Economist

Lawrence Yun is Chief Economist and oversees the Research group at the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. He supervises and is responsible for a wide range of research activities for the association, including NAR's Existing Home Sales statistics, Affordability Index, and Home Buyers and Sellers Profile Report. He regularly provides commentary on real estate market trends.

Sherry Chris

Former CEO of Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate

Sherry Chris provides strategic counsel on strengthening relationships, building trust and enhancing collaboration with brokerage leaders for the National Association of REALTORS®. Chris is a two decade veteran of Anywhere Real Estate Inc., where she most recently served as Executive Advisor. Previously, she was the CEO of Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate (BHGRE) and ERA Real Estate and earlier as COO for Coldwell Banker Real Estate.

Lisa Turner

RPR's Senior Director of Broker Services

Lisa Turner is the Director of Broker and Specialty Services at Realtors Property Resource (RPR) and a Broker Sales Associate at Century 21 Coastal Alliance in Palm Harbor. With extensive experience in the real estate sector, Lisa served as the Senior Market Director at Listingbook from 2007 to 2014. She has been engaged with Century 21 since 2003, holding positions as a Broker Associate and Broker Sales Associate.

Dee C. Denton has over 30 years of experience in the RE Industry. She is a Licensed Real Estate Broker and Licensed Auctioneer. Dee has made considerable contributions to her industry serving in numerous positions on the local, state and national levels. Including: President of Jackson Association or Realtors®; Jackson Association Realtor® of the Year; President of Mississippi Association of Realtors®; MS Institute Instructor of the Year twice; Association of Realtors® Professional Standards Committee; Mississippi Association of Realtors®, Graduate, Leadership MAR & Leadership Honors; National Association of Realtors® Certified Mediator, National Association of Realtors® Leadership Academy Graduate, and has served on numerous NAR Committees & Forums.

She is a member of Real Estate Educators Association and holds REEA’s Gold Standard Instructor designation. She holds numerous Realtor® designations and is a NAR RPAC Sterling R contributor and a member of the MARPAC Hall of Fame.

Dee is a subject matter expert in Real Estate Agency and is hired to provide Expert Opinions in lawsuits defending real estate agents.
