01 May 2019 MAR Executive Committee and Board of Director applications open through June 15

If you’ve ever imagined yourself on the MAR Executive Committee or as an at-large member of the MAR Board of Directors, the 2019 application process is now open!

To apply, please complete the Form and submit it to MAR no later than Friday, June 15, 2018.

If you are not able to serve in one of these positions next year but know of someone that you feel is a good candidate, please pass this information along to them and encourage them to apply.

The following offices are available:
• Treasurer
• Three District Vice Presidents (Northern, Central and Southern), one of whom shall be designated First Vice President, and will ascend to the MAR presidency in 2020
• Four Directors-At-Large to the MAR Board of Directors, one from each of our four Mississippi Congressional Districts

Candidates for the First Vice President position will be interviewed by the Nominating Committee in Jackson when it meets Wednesday, June 27.

The deadline to complete the application is Friday, June 15, 2018.
