The REALTOR® Party is a powerful, bipartisan alliance for pro-real estate advocacy, working to protect and promote homeownership and property investment.

REALTORS® like us have a responsibility to make our voices heard in the political arena. If we don’t, other voices will fill the void – without our perspective, concerns or commitment to strong, dynamic communities in mind.

With resources and assistance provided on the local, state and national levels, the REALTOR® Party makes it easy to VOTE, ACT and INVEST!

What is the REALTOR^® Party?

The REALTOR® Party is your official connection to all things advocacy at the local, state and national levels that matter to you as a REALTOR®. Without being Democrat or Republican, the REALTOR® Party unites REALTORS® across the country to accomplish common goals. In fact, being bipartisan is one of the keys to real legislative success.

One major goal is to help elect candidates that understand and support REALTOR® issues. Our national, state and local associations constantly monitor issues that are affecting or could affect your business. We keep a finger on the pulse of America’s real estate landscape, then work to support elected officials who stand for the same vital issues that you do.

How Can You Support the REALTOR® Party?

As is the case with any successful organization, just joining isn’t enough. To have the greatest impact, members must participate! As a member of the REALTOR® Party, you lend your support in three important ways: VOTE, ACT and INVEST!

Register Exercise Your Right to Vote

First, register to vote. And don’t forget to help your clients register to vote if they move into a new community or across town into a new precinct. It’s all part of the Mississippi REALTORS® Move The Vote Initiative.

Exercise Your Right to Vote

When Election Day comes, show up to the polls armed with the information and enthusiasm to make your voice heard. When you cast a vote in favor of pro-REALTOR® candidates, you send a loud and clear message for homeownership, a healthy real estate market and thriving communities.

Contact Your Elected Officials

Occasionally, the REALTOR® Party will call on our members to show lawmakers just how united and vocal the REALTOR® Party is. In critical times like these, members like you will be asked to call or write your elected officials to express the REALTOR® Party position in favor of or against a certain issue. Attend REALTOR^® Day at the Capitol

This important annual event puts REALTORS® and the REALTOR® Party agenda front and center with state politicians. Meet face-to-face with Mississippi lawmakers, hear a legislative update and help honor the Mississippi REALTORS® Legislators of the Year.

INVEST

Support the REALTOR® Party by investing in MARPAC. On the national, state and local levels, our activities are funded through MARPAC, one of Mississippi’s largest and most influential political action committees. You assist the REALTOR® Party through your investment in MARPAC, helping to support candidates who stand with you and your fellow members of the REALTOR® Party.
