Disaster Relief Fund

In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, the Mississippi REALTORS® Disaster Relief Fund was designed to provide quick assistance to Mississippi families who sustained significant damage to their primary residences.

Thanks to generous contributions from the National Association of REALTORS®, REALTORS® organizations around the country, and REALTORS® in Mississippi, the fund helped more than 3,000 families.

In addition to hurricane relief, the fund has provided financial assistance to the Lutheran-Episcopal Disaster Response Group. It has also been utilized to assist victims of tornadoes, flooding and the 2010 Gulf Coast oil spill.

The Mississippi REALTORS® Disaster Relief fund continues to provide a broad scope of assistance to Mississippi citizens.
