Mississippi REALTORS^® proudly recognizes members and community leaders for their outstanding service and dedication to both the Real Estate profession and our organization.

Mississippi REALTORS® presents several annual awards each year to honor exceptional individuals. Nomination forms are available from June each year through the nomination deadline, which is typically in mid- to late August.

Hall of Fame (HOF)

Induction into the Mississippi REALTOR® Hall of Fame is the highest honor for our members. The Mississippi REALTOR® Hall of Fame honors Mississippi REALTORS® who have made an extraordinary and distinguished contribution to the real estate industry in Mississippi over a period of at least 20 years.

REALTOR® of the Year (ROTY)

The REALTOR® of the Year award recognizes the contributions of an outstanding Mississippi REALTOR® during the current year.

Community Champion Award

The Mississippi REALTOR® Community Champion Award honors REALTORS® who volunteer their time and demonstrate extraordinary efforts to improve the quality of life in their community.

Affiliate of the Year (AOTY)

The Mississippi REALTOR® Affiliate of the Year awards honor Affiliate members of Mississippi REALTORS® who have demonstrated extraordinary support to Mississippi REALTORS® at the local and state level for the current year. Up to four (4) awards may be presented annually.

Under 40

Mississippi REALTOR® Under 40 Awards. The Mississippi REALTOR® Under 40 Awards honor Mississippi REALTORS® under 40 years of age who have demonstrated extraordinary contributions to Mississippi REALTORS® at the local and state level for the current year.

Instructor of the Year

Each year a REALTOR® Institute instructor is awarded the prestigious Instructor of the Year Award based solely on student evaluations. At the end of every REALTOR® Institute pre-license, post-license and CE course, students evaluate the instructors based on various items including but not limited to subject matter knowledge, presentation skills, whether or not the students’ expectations were met, etc. The instructor with the highest cumulative numeric score over a 12-month period wins the award.

President’s Award

This award, chosen by the current president, seeks to recognize an individual whose contributions helped the President in attaining the goals set forth in his or her presidential platform.

Outstanding Legislators of the Year

This award seeks to recognize one representative and one senator for their instrumental work and support of REALTOR®-related bills.
